General Finishes Linen color Milk Paint is the perfect choice for a mid-century modern buffet like this. Design and painted by Kim Fratrick, she demonstrates a real talent and eye for color. So glad she kept original hardware as only it works for this piece.
Linen is the new off-white color for painters that like a little cream in their coffee. It’s not yellow but the perfect shade of cream – and not the old dirty cream color of the 70’s. Not brown or yellow but a gray kind of cream that goes with anything!
How’d she get this look? 2 coats of General Finishes Linen directly applied to piece after cleaning. Nope – no primer. She achieved a super sleek durable finish with 3 coats General Finishes Satin topcoat (4 on the top).
