Painted Peacock Chiffonier
This old dog learned a new word thanks to my friend Nicki at Painted Plethora and Google. This piece isn’t a Wardrobe or an Armiore. What is it?
1. chiffonier – a tall elegant chest of drawers. commode. chest of drawers, dresser, bureau, chest – furniture with drawers for keeping clothes. drawer – a boxlike container in a piece of furniture; made so as to slide in and out.
It’s also a great find at my favorite resource for furniture, Habitat for Humanity Greater Jackson. I am always excited to start new projects so I don’t always get a before picture but I think you can imagine a 70’s brown vibe here. Otherwise, it’s in perfect shape but in that unlovable color. I still can’t get inspired to use neutral colors all the time but I’m trying. Not this one!
